Terms
Terms and conditions.
The terms on which we provide portfolio support. Written in plain English, because terms nobody can read protect nobody.

1. Who we are
Gas Track Academy provides gas portfolio support in and around London. Gas Track Academy is a trading name of IOT Homes. You can reach us on 020 7432 3868 or at support@gastrackacademy.com.
2. What we provide
- A free suitability check before any payment
- A paid detailed portfolio review
- Supervised portfolio support on live domestic jobs
- Organisation of your evidence against the applicable requirements
- Applicable engineer evidence and sign-off
- Correction support as defined in section 12
3. What we do not provide
- We are not Gas Safe Register, and we do not award Gas Safe registration
- We are not an accredited training provider
- We do not conduct or award your ACS qualification
- We do not guarantee that you will pass an ACS assessment
- We do not guarantee that a training centre will accept your entire portfolio regardless of circumstances
4. Your responsibilities
You need to give us accurate information about your training route and the requirements that apply to you, and to co-operate with supervision and site safety requirements while on live jobs. Your portfolio may be 0% complete — that is fine — but you do need to be on a recognised training route with requirements we can work to.
5. Live customer jobs
The work you attend is genuine customer work. We review your requirements first and plan your placement around the evidence you need, using the volume and range of domestic work we carry out. The exact order in which job types come up, and the day each one appears, can vary.
6. Price
£450 in total, including VAT, paid in four stages:
- £50 inc VAT — Detailed portfolio review
- £150 inc VAT — At the agreed halfway milestone
- £150 inc VAT — When the remaining on-site milestone is complete
- £100 inc VAT — Compiling and sign-off
All prices include VAT.
7. Payment triggers
The milestones that trigger the second, third and fourth payments are agreed with you as part of the £50 detailed review, based on your actual requirements, and written down so both sides know what has to be completed before each stage becomes due.
8. The detailed review fee
The £50 is payment for a real, standalone professional service: we read your requirements, identify what is outstanding and set out a plan. Once the detailed review has been carried out, the fee is not refundable, subject to your statutory rights.
9. Your cancellation rights
As a consumer buying a service at a distance, you normally have 14 days to cancel. If you ask us to begin the review within that period and the service is then fully performed, you may lose the right to cancel that completed service. We will ask you to confirm that request explicitly before starting — it is never assumed or pre-ticked.
If work starts during the cancellation period at your request and you cancel before it is finished, anything we charge will be proportionate to what has actually been supplied. Nothing in these terms removes your statutory rights.
10. Service standard
We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes that obligation or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Travel
You are responsible for getting yourself to and from the agreed live job locations. Travel is not included in the price.
12. Portfolio support guarantee
If your training centre identifies a legitimate problem with evidence, organisation or applicable engineer sign-off that Gas Track Academy provided as part of your agreed portfolio support, we will work with you to correct that part at no additional charge.
It does not cover:
- It is not a guarantee that you will pass an ACS assessment
- It is not a guarantee that a training centre will accept your entire portfolio regardless of circumstances
- It does not cover your performance in an assessment
- It does not cover work or evidence completed elsewhere
- It does not cover entirely new requirements introduced after the scope we reviewed and agreed
- It does not allow sign-off for work that was not actually carried out and supervised as required
13. Assessment
Decisions about your qualification sit with the relevant assessment and training process, not with Gas Track Academy.
14. Complaints
If something has gone wrong, contact us on 020 7432 3868 or at support@gastrackacademy.com and we will work through it with you.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to you is the one published when you booked.
16. Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
